I was finally able to find time to drop off the 30 blue tees with Alan (the guy who is helping me with printing). Hopefully I’ll get ‘em back in the next few weeks. He’s super busy with a bunch of other jobs so he’s going to try and fit in my job somewhere in between.
I’m both excited and scared. There are a lot of what-if’s I can think of but I’ve pretty confident they will turn out okay. If not, I’ll consider it a $150 experiment :p
I’ve been looking around on Flickr a lot lately at screenprinting pictures and have started to wonder why I don’t just do my own printing. a) it looks like fun b) I have a lot of ideas for what I can do with Lump illustrations and screenprinting on kraft cardstock etc.
Going to start looking into cost of materials to set up my own studio.
My good friend has a dog who will be losing his front leg today in attempt to save his life. A few months ago, they found a tumor on his leg and after many flights back to the United States to have the tumor removed and to get check-ups done, it has still not gone away completely.
Please head over to his journal and leave a comment of support. Lord knows both Keith and Digit are going to need it.
Would something like this make a good Lump tee??

Okay. So I want to enter the most recent Loves Threadless competition.
It’s for the American Red Cross’s 125th Anniversary and the theme is “Hope, Humanity and Compassion.”
Here’s my design. Thoughts?

I’ve been watching the submissions and they’re all pretty much the same. Hopefully this one will stand out.
p.s. YES, for all the Lump Lovers out there, I’ve spoken with threadless and there would be no problems with loss of copyright to my character if it gets used on a shirt.
more lovely internet junk.
but well worth it.
here
the two from Rocketboom are the best.

Each tee is printed on American Apparel shirts. Available in both MENS (black) and WOMENS (black, pink)
Cost: $15 + shipping.
For sizing information, go here for womens and here for mens.
If you’re interested, leave a comment and I’ll get in touch with you.
Help spread the word.
p.s. For those of you still interested in the “Clouds” shirt, it will hopefully be printed on Tuesday. I’ve got a total of 30 shirts (in varying sizes) being printed for the first run. The guy I print with has been swamped with filling other orders.
I’ve got a few projects in mind but before I run off and do anything crazy, I need some opinions. I’d really appreciate it if everyone took this quick poll. When you’re done, I beg that you link to it in as many places as possible. The number of people reading my lj these days (or at leasting responding to it) seems to be very few and I need to reach a WIDE audience with this. Thanks so much.
